I extend a very warm welcome from Lodge St. Andrew, No. 524 and I hope that your visit to this website is as enjoyable as well as informative.
The main intention of this website is to keep the brethren of 524 and of the wider Masonic community up to date with the latest happenings of this lodge. I would like to give a vote of thanks to Bro. J. N. MacDonald P.M. for his efforts in setting up this website.
I extend an invitiation to any brother who is in the East Kilbride area to come and join us at one of our regular meetings. I can assure you that you will be made most welcome by myself and by the brethren of Lodge St.Andrew. Please check the syllabus page for dates and the degrees being worked.
On a personal note, I would like to thank the brethren of Lodge St.Andrew, for giving me the honour of becoming your R.W.M. - especially at this early stage of my Masonic career. As I said at my installation, I can reassure you, that I will carry out the duties of R.W.M. with the decorum, the energy, the respect and the enthusiasm that it requires. I hope by the end of the coming twelve months that the brethren of Lodge St.Andrew will regard my tenure as R.W.M. as in the same league as those Brethren who have previously graced the chair of this fine lodge.
I would appeal to the office bearers and the brethren of this lodge for their continued support throughout 2008.
Again, I look forward to welcoming you down at 524 on a Tuesday night.
